I just had to share this hilarious story about Calista. We got up early this morning and headed out for a scavenger hunt that is sponsored by Payson City. We had to drive around town and find answers to all kinds of different questions. We decided to stop at Burger King for some breakfast. This Burger King is located within a gas station. We got our food and sat down to enjoy our yummy cinnamon rolls.
There was a pick-up parked next to the gas pumps - evidently it had gotten gas and then wouldn't start. A car pulled up next to it and they tried to jump start it. Being the mean parents that we are, we told Calista that it was possible but not probable that it could spark and cause a giant explosion. She asked how and we explained that sometimes the jumper cables cause a spark and gasoline fumes are flammable.
She sat there for a moment and then said, "Can we leave now and eat the rest at home? I want to leave." She was DEAD serious and a little scared...we laughed and laughed and then went outside to help push the pick-up to a nearby parking lot - because it wouldn't jump start. She is so fun to tease!!
