Introducing Pocahontas.....
The students in 5th grade had to learn about an important person in America's history. Calista picked Pocahontas. She studied, learned about Pocahontas, wrote a report, and prepared a display for the wax museum.
The kids also made a "push button" and then they would sit by their display and wait for parents/students to push their button and they would have to stand up and tell about their character.
It was so cute. I loved seeing all the cute little 5th graders dressed up like grown-ups. I wish I had taken a group pictures of all the kids - one of my favorite school projects yet.
